I have used these resources after reading the book "Lost and found" by Oliver Jeffers. The film is edited highlights of the way a penguin moves. I wrote the music to follow those movements. This simple song encourages the children to put on their super hero boots, magic cloak, and glasses for x -ray vision before they curl up exhausted after a days super heroism! Use props or simply mime the actions in the short musical interluded after each verse or use simple instruments to imitate the action.E.g When the skeleton appears , add some bones (tappers/claves)

This is a useful little video that I have edited. It's from 'It&'s a bugs life ' The ants collect food and later celebrate . The video explores each aspect, the lifting, throwing, carrying, marching ,flying etc. I&';m using it for movement, but you could use it for Harvest festival, literacy , poetry etc . We are using it in our mini beasts topic. Children can make props for their foraging. We drew fruit and cut it out. We staggered under the weight and deposited the 'fruit' on our 'mountain '
